WALLPAPER ORDERING

Please see details below about ordering samples and wallpaper.

Order samples for a representation of the wallpaper you will be purchasing. We can not guarantee which section of the wallpaper our customers will receive and as many papers are hand made per order, not all colours will match exactly. Samples are 5" by 5".  If you need a larger sample for a presentation, feel free to email us at mail@taniaj.com

Width:
Tania J. wallpapers are provided trimmed. Our wallpaper width is 27”.

Length:
A single roll of wallpaper is 27 inches wide by 10 feet long. However, we can package and ship the wallpaper in 30 ft continuous triple rolls when possible. This is because it is a better value for our customers when we package it this way. A continuous 30 ft roll of wallpaper covers significantly more wall than two single 10 ft rolls of wallpaper covers.

However, if you order a single roll or an odd number of rolls, we will cut down a double roll into a single roll and package it for you that way. For example, if you order 4 rolls of our wallpaper, you will receive one 30 ft and one single roll of 1o ft. The rolls packaged in this fashion will cover more wall than would five single rolls. We can customize the length of your paper for no extra charge to you.

The price listed on the website is per single 10 ft roll $150. A 30 ft triple roll is $450. Please place your order in single rolls.

Pattern repeat is the vertical distance between the points at which the wallpaper pattern repeats itself, or "starts over” in a wallpaper roll. Most Tania J. patterns have 18” or 36” vertical repeats. Meaning, as you unroll a roll of our wallpaper, you will see that the pattern usually “starts over” every 18 or 36 inches.

Pattern match refers to the way that the pattern drops* line up horizontally, or “side to side” on the wall. In a straight match repeat, every drop of wallpaper will line up horizontally in an identical fashion to the previous drop. This does not mean that it is a mirror image to the prior drop, which is a different type of pattern match. Imagine a standard grid. In a half-drop repeat, every other drop is staggered, or offset vertically at the halfway point of the previous pattern’s vertical repeat start point. Imagine a brick wall on its side, in an up-and-down fashion, where the bricks are staggered vertically instead of horizontally.

The pattern repeat and match must be taken into account when determining how much wallpaper you need in order to ensure that the wallpaper lines up as intended. Since there are no horizontal seams in wallpaper, you must ensure that you have the appropriate number of pattern repeats available for each drop of wallpaper. In general terms, most half drop repeats will necessitate one extra half-repeat of material be available per 30 every foot double roll. We strongly recommend that your roll counts be calculated by a professional wallpaper installer.

*A drop refers to the vertical piece of wallpaper that you cut from the roll to hang on the wall. A drop is typically around 9’ in height, in order to accommodate a standard 8’ ceiling.

Many Tania J. papers have no drop and therefore are easier to calculate.
